BIO 100% SPIRULINA

BIO SPIRULINA is a dietary supplement in tablet form based on 100% organically grown Spirulina platensis, a freshwater microalgae naturally rich in functional substances that make it suitable as a restorative and supportive for the body. The tablets are cold-pressed and contain only 100% Chlorella, with no additives or excipients.

BIO SPIRULINA is characterised by a high protein content(64 - 74% of dry weight) and the presence of 16 amino acids, 8 of which are essential. Among the proteins, the most characterising is certainly the c-phycocyanin, which accounts for up to 20% of the total protein share, and has an intense blue colour; this is why it is used as a natural colouring agent. It also contains several vitamins, in particular Vitamin B12 and Vitamin K, and various minerals.

Lastly, various unsaturated fatty acids are present, including a portion of EPA = eicosapentaenoic acid, an Omega-3 that is very useful for the integrity of cell membranes and potentially useful in the treatment of numerous ailments and diseases due to its marked anti-inflammatory action.
