Dietary supplement with Tolu balsam and plant extracts.
The transition from one season to the next requires our organism to have a particular ability to adapt to changing climatic conditions. Winter is certainly the period when our organism is under the greatest stress in terms of adapting to new climatic conditions. On an organic level, the onset of the cold season, smog and bacterial agents pose a real threat; this is accentuated by the natural lowering of our organic defences at this time of year.
This concomitance of factors leads to the appearance of various types of localised discomfort, especially in the oral cavity and the first respiratory tracts, which are the areas most exposed and therefore most affected. Abbé Roland has perfected a food supplement that, thanks to its composition based on nutrients and synergetic natural substances, including Tolu balsam, known for its expectorant, antiseptic and balsamic properties, is a suitable adjuvant able to promote the physiological defences available to our organism to combat the harmful agents typical of the cold season that tend to undermine our natural state of well-being.
Mullein: excellent remedy for all diseases characterised by abundant mucous secretion.
Plantain: essentially used in inflammatory and bronchopulmonary situations.
Thyme: one of the best remedies in cold diseases. It is successfully used in the treatment of infections. It has balsamic, pulmonary antiseptic, bactericidal, expectorant, sudorific, nervine tonic and stimulating properties. Excellent in cases of convulsive coughs, lung diseases, asthma, infectious diseases, intestinal parasites and colds.
Drosera: is used by virtue of its spasmolytic, bronchiolytic and bechic action in respiratory disorders characterised by dry, convulsive coughs. Grindelia: is used, as a bechic and expectorant, in the composition of formulations to treat acute catarrhal bronchitis, and to relieve asthma attacks.
Echinacea: exerts both a local action, delaying the spread of infection through the tissues, and a general action concerning an increase in the body's resistance to infection.
Liquorice: Liquorice's most important active ingredient is glycyrrhizin, which gives it anti-inflammatory and anti-viral action.
Aniseed: widely used for its carminative, spasmolytic and antibacterial properties.
Tolu balsam: thanks to its antitussive, balsamic and expectorant properties, it is particularly indicated in cases of throat infections, bronchitis, coughs, catarrh and laryngitis. Sweet orange: mainly used as a bitter-tonic, stomachic, carminative.
Icelandic lichen: has strong antimicrobial and emollient properties. It is therefore used as an emollient on irritated mucous membranes and as an expectorant in coughs.
