Rassoul Clay Mask 75 ml

Rassoul or Ghassoul is a natural clayey powder whose only deposits in the world are found in the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. The word Rassoul comes from Arabic and means 'stone that washes'. It has remarkable purifying, detoxifying, astringent and cleansing properties. For these functions, it has been used for centuries by Berber populations as a skin and hair treatment in Hammam rituals.
Rassoul acts through a physical process respecting the lipo-protective film of the skin and hair, without irritating the sebaceous glands. Mixed with water or oil, its fine particles swell to form a dense paste capable of absorbing impurities and fats, which are then eliminated when rinsed off. This clay is particularly suitable for impure, mixed skin, with seborrhoeic dermatitis, acne, boils, folliculitis also caused by depilatory treatments and other exudative forms of skin and scalp.
The trace elements present, such as silicon and magnesium ions, sodium, potassium, calcium, iron and aluminium oxides also make it a remineralising treatment with a revitalising effect on the skin. 100% natural, it is a completely ecological treatment: the environment will not have to intervene in difficult degradation work, as this clay is a mineral.


METHOD OF USE

1) WASH FOR OILY HAIR OR WITH SEBORRHEA: Suitable for treating the scalp with seborrhoea, dandruff, scaling or other exudative forms. For best results, it is recommended to use Rassoul clay in combination with Argan oil, which will allow a greater repairing and emollient action.
INGREDIENTS:
- Hair pack with Rassoul: 3 level tablespoons of clay, 5 tablespoons of water;
- Hair pack with Rassoul and Argan oil: 3 level tablespoons of clay, 5 tablespoons of water, 1 tablespoon of Argan oil.
PROCEDURE:
Prepare the pack: On a bowl, preferably not made of metal, place a scoop of clay. Add the water and stir until the mixture is smooth and lump-free. It is recommended, for greater effectiveness, to also add Argan oil to the mixture, stirring vigorously until an even emulsion is obtained. Wet the hair and dab off excess moisture. Comb through the length of the hair. Apply the previously prepared mixture directly to the scalp (do not apply to the entire length of the hair). Leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and proceed with normal washing; it is recommended to use the shampoo and conditioner of the Arganiae line which, due to their delicacy and effectiveness, are suitable for working with the clay to treat the hair.

2) SKIN PURIFYING DETOXIFYING MASK (FACE/BODY): The Rassoul clay mask, prepared as described below, is particularly suitable for impure, mixed or acne-prone skin. A compress can be made with clay and water and, for best results, the use of Rassoul clay in combination with Argan oil is recommended.
INGREDIENTS PER FACE MASK*:
- Wrap with Rassoul: 3 level tablespoons of clay, 3 generous tablespoons of water;
- Wrap with Rassoul and Argan oil: 3 level tablespoons of clay, 3 generous tablespoons of water, 1 tablespoon of Argan oil.
*For the body, double or triple the dosage depending on the size of the area to be treated.
PROCEDURE:
Prepare the mask: In a bowl, preferably not made of metal, place a scoop of clay. Add water and stir until the mixture is smooth and lump-free. It is recommended, for greater effectiveness, to also add Argan oil to the mixture, stirring vigorously until an even emulsion is obtained. Prepare the skin on the face using the Arganiae cleansing milk and tonic. Exfoliate lightly with the Arganiae peeling. Apply the previously prepared mixture of Rassoul Clay in an even layer. Leave on for 10 minutes. Moisten and remove the mask with a sponge, then rinse the face directly with water. To optimise the treatment, it is advisable, once the mask has been removed, to massage a few drops of pure Argan oil onto the face until completely absorbed.

3) STIMULATING REMINERALISING FACE PACK FOR MATURE SKIN: Obtain a velvety liquid by mixing a tablespoon of Argan oil with a level tablespoon of Rassoul clay. Prepare the skin of the face using the Arganiae cleansing milk and tonic. Exfoliate lightly with the Arganiae exfoliator. Apply the previously obtained mixture to the face and leave on for about ten minutes. The compress will not dry out but the clay will release its precious minerals to the skin, which will be stimulated and revitalised thanks to the action of the trace elements.

- Argan oil: nourishing, protective, moisturising, emollient, anti-aging;
- Wheat Germ Oil: emollient, rich in vitamin E;
- Allantoin: moisturising, keratoplastic, smoothing;
- Rassoul Clay: purifying, toning;
- Kaolin, Talc: absorbent.
