Algem Manuka Gastro HP is a dietary supplement in gel form with Manuka Honey, which has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and healing effects. Turmeric supports the function of the digestive system while Marshmallow has an emollient and soothing action.

ACTIVE COMPONENTS:
- Manuka honey: Manuka honey comes from the nectar of Manuka plants that grow wild in the pristine expanses of New Zealand, producing a honey with a strong taste, rich in texture. Manuka honey and its essential oil have been shown to have strong antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and healing properties. The average activity level of Manuka honey contained in Algem Natura products is 15 +, i.e. equivalent to the antibacterial activity of a solution containing 15 % phenol, and has a methylglyoxal index (MGO) of 500. This MGO index enables it to be stable in the stomach and to be used effectively against ulcers and gastritis related to the presence of Helicobacter Pylori.
- Altea: the root is particularly used because it is rich in numerous active ingredients including mucilage, sugars, pectins, fats, flavonoids, polyphenols and tannins that give the plant anti-inflammatory, soothing and protective properties for the gastric mucosa. In particular, the mucilages contained in the root give Altea anti-spastic and mucoprotective properties as they can form a thin film-forming layer on the stomach mucosa that protects it from irritation, injury and inflammation caused by various forms of gastritis.
- Turmeric: Turmeric is a plant with a rhizome rich in curcumin and other curcuminoids, which have various beneficial properties. Several studies have highlighted the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory action of turmeric, which acts by modulating the synthesis of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Since ancient times, turmeric has been used for digestive problems, as a depurative and as an aid to liver function.

Aqua; Marshmallow (Althaea officinalis L.) root E.S. 4:1; Acidifier: Citric acid; Manuka honey; Turmeric (Curcuma longa L.) rhizome E.S. tit. 95% in curcuminoids; Thickener: Sodium alginate; Preservative: Potassium sorbate; Acidity corrector: Sodium lactate; Flavour; Sweetener: Sucralose.

AVERAGE CONTENTS PER MAX DAILY DOSE (1 stick):
- Atea E.S. 4:1: 750 mg.
- Manuka honey: 500 mg.
- Turmeric E.S. tit. 95%: 250 mg (of which curcuminoids: 237.5 mg).

DIRECTIONS:
We recommend taking 1 stick per day, preferably in the evening after a meal.
