Plus Iron is a dietary supplement in tablet form with spirulina and chlorella microalgae, iron, vitamin b12 and vitamin c from acerola, suitably combined to fill any deficiencies and support the body at times of increased nutritional need. Plus Iron is a valuable aid when the dietary intake of the mineral is reduced, when the body's ability to absorb it decreases or when losses increase.

Properties of the components of + Iron:
- Spirulina microalgae: rich in organic and highly bioavailable iron as well as magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, zinc selenium, copper, manganese, chromium, sodium and potassium. Scientific studies have shown that the bioavailability of iron contained in spirulina can compete with the iron contained in meat.
- Chlorella algae: this single-celled, freshwater green microalgae has a cell similar in shape and size to that of human red blood cells. Due to its richness in chlorophyll (it is by far the richest food in chlorophyll with 10 to 100 times more chlorophyll than green leafy vegetables), chlorella can increase the formation of haemoglobin, an essential substance in red blood cells for transporting oxygen to various tissues.
- Iron gluconate: is characterised by its high bioavailability and greater digestibility than other types of iron. Iron gluconate is in addition to the iron naturally present in the microalgae spirulina and chlorella.
- Rosehips: Rosehip fruits are characterised by a high content of highly bioavailable natural vitamin c. Vitamin c is an important factor in the body's absorption of iron.
- Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin): in addition to iron, the body also needs vitamin b12 to produce the right number of healthy red blood cells. Vitamin b12 is in fact very important for the synthesis of haemoglobin as it acts in combination with folic acid for perfect haemopoiesis.

Properties:
An additional amount of iron may be useful in the following cases women of childbearing age - persons with an inadequate caloric or nutritional intake or who require a nutritional boost - persons over 55 - pregnant or breastfeeding women - persons who abuse alcohol or other drugs - persons with chronic illnesses, prolonged stress or who have recently undergone surgery - athletes or workers undergoing heavy physical activity - persons with poor gastrointestinal absorption - persons who have had recent blood loss as a result of accidents or women with heavy menstrual flow - vegetarians.

Ingredients:
Spirulina algae (Spirulina platensis L.) thallus powder, Chlorella algae (Chlorella pyrenoidosa Chick) thallus, Rosa canina (Rosa canina L.) dry fruit extract* (70% vitamin C), Iron gluconate, thickeners: microcrystalline cellulose, gum arabic, tribasic calcium phosphate, anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin). *Dry extract on maize maltodextrins.

Components per maximum recommended daily dose (equal to 3 tablets):
- Spirulina algae: 750 mg.
- Chlorella algae: 300 mg.
- Rose hip dry extract: 171.6 mg (Vitamin C intake: 120 mg (150% NRV*)).
- Iron: 14 mg (100% NRV*).
- Vitamin B12: 1 mcg (40% NRV*).
*NRV = Nutritive Reference Values


Method of use:
2 tablets 20 minutes before lunch and 1 tablet 20 minutes before dinner with half a glass of water.
