Omega 3.6.9 food supplement, suitable for vegetarian and vegan diets.

Full description

Omega Veg 3 6 9 is a dietary supplement in vegetable softgels based on a balanced blend of Chia, Evening Primrose, Linseed, Sunflower and Blackcurrant seed oils, 100% natural sources of Omega 3.6.9. Omega is a polyunsaturated fatty acid that performs energy and structural functions in the body and also has a very important metabolic and regulatory role. These extremely valuable fatty acids are a very important dietary support and supplementation is often recommended in diets deficient in these nutrients, such as vegetarian and vegan diets.
OMEGA 3.6.9 VEG ensures adequate and functional amounts of the necessary fatty acids through careful formulation. The formulation meets the nutritional criteria of the latest scientific research, which defines the correct ratio of Omega 3:6:9 as 2:1:1-0.5.
The formula is completed with Vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant that helps protect cells from oxidative stress. The quality of the product is guaranteed by both the choice of oils and the correct manufacturing processes that comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) criteria.
SUITABLE FOR VEGETARIANS AND VEGANS. GLUTEN-FREE.

ACTIVE COMPONENTS:
-
BLACKCURRANT (Omega 3-6): contributes to the integrity and functionality of cell membranes. Blackcurrant (Ribes nigrum) is a plant of the Saxifragaceae family. Blackcurrant is one of those plants of which various parts (drugs) are used and therefore have various therapeutic activities. The buds are rich in essential oils, flavonoids and glycosides, while the main components of the leaves are triterpenes and polyphenols. The seeds, on the other hand, are rich in essential fatty acids, the famous omega 3 and 6, which we must necessarily introduce with our diet as our body does not synthesise them. Currant seeds contain mainly gamma-linolenic acid or GLA (15-19%), then other omegas such as alpha-linoleic and stearidonic acid.

- OENOTHER (Omega 3): promotes skin trophism and functionality. Evening primrose (Oenothera biennis) is a herbaceous plant with large yellow flowers, native to North America. In phytotherapy, the seeds are used, from which an oil is obtained that contains predominantly omega 6: linoleic acid (LA) and gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). These essential fatty acids are important constituents of the phospholipids in cell membranes; they are the precursors of substances that are essential for immune and coagulation processes (prostaglandins, leukotrienes, thromboxanes). The main action is on the skin: Evening primrose oil is active against atopic dermatitis and eczema, characterised by intense itching, redness and flaking of the skin.

- LINSEED (Omega 3): assists lipid metabolism. Linseed oil (Linum usitatissimum) is extracted from the seeds of the plant and is highly prized for its richness in alpha linolenic acid or ALA (omega 3), the progenitor of this important family essential for humans. ALA is converted in the body into the longer-chain fatty acids eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). In addition to high amounts of polyunsaturated fatty acids, the seeds contain proteins, minerals and vitamins. Polyunsaturated fatty acids, as known from the literature, are useful for energy production, for the formation of cell membranes, for strengthening the immune system and for lowering cholesterol.

- CHIA (Omega 3-6): Salvia hispanica L., better known as chia, is a herbaceous plant and is native to the areas between Guatemala and Mexico. Recent studies have shown it to be rich in nutritional components such as vitamins, minerals, polyphenols and especially omega 3 and omega 6. In particular, the oil obtained by cold extraction of Chia seeds contains about 60 % omega 3 (ALA) and to a lesser extent omega 6, essential fatty acids that lead to various benefits for cardiovascular health, hypertension and inflammation.

- SUNFLOWER (Omega 6-9): Sunflower (Helianthus annuus) is a plant native to North America and Peru. From the seeds of the plant, an oil is obtained that is rich in oleic acid (omega 9), linoleic acid (omega 6) and vitamin E. The unsaturated fatty acids are involved in the production of prostaglandins, strengthen the immune system and ensure the normal permeability of the lining tissues. Thanks to these fats, the epidermis remains intact, firm and smooth.

- VITAMIN E: contributes to protecting cells from oxidative stress. Vitamin E belongs to the group of fat-soluble vitamins and contributes to protecting cells from oxidative stress. Vitamin E's antioxidant power and solubility in oils ensure product stability.
