The dual action is supported by 12 Standardised and Titrated Phytocomplexes:
- PILOSELLA (Hieracium Pilosella) E.S. of Pilosella 0.5% in vitexine: Flavonoids can stimulate diuresis, sodium and chloride elimination. This plant is known in the literature for its diuretic, draining and depurative action, also accompanied by antiseptic and anti-inflammatory activity in the urinary tract.
- BETHULLA (Betula pendula) E.S. of Birch 0.3% in hyperoside: Birch exerts a notable draining and depurative effect: in fact, it is able to favour the elimination of excess liquids, acting at renal level on sodium-potassium exchange. It can combat urinary tract disorders thanks to the considerable elimination of chlorides and nitrogenous waste products.
- CENTELLA ASIATICA (Hydrocotile asiatica) E.S. of Centella 4% in asiaticoside: Botanical studies confirm that Centella asiatica shows particular trophism for connective tissue by physiologically stimulating the synthesis of the structural proteins of this tissue: glycosaminoglycans and fibrillar components (collagen and elastin). In particular, Centella can promote the utilisation of amino acids such as proline, hydroxyproline and alanine, which make up 40% of the total amino acids in the connective tissue itself. The vasoprotective action improves circulatory function by toning the vessel walls and decreasing capillary permeability.
- MELYLOTUS (Melilotus officinalis) E.S. of Melilotus 2% in coumarin: As shown by experimental studies, the main effect of Melilotus is on lymphatic drainage, resulting in an improvement in circulation disorders; this results in a tonic effect on the microcirculation useful in cases of cellulite. It also acts as a scavenger of protein residues in the tissues, preventing them from accumulating and forming oedemas.
-EWBERRY (Sambucus nigra) E.S. of Elderberry 6.5% in anthocyanins: Clinical research shows that anthocyanins act on the vessel walls, promoting normalisation of capillary permeability and an increase in their resistance; they possess a natural anti-inflammatory activity against the oedemas that often accompany cellulite deposits. The ripe fruits also have a diuretic and depurative action, thanks to the presence of potassium salts.
- DANDELION (Taraxacum officinalis) E.S. Dandelion 10% inuline: The most modern research has confirmed that the Dandelion possesses choleretic (promotes the production of bile) and cholagogic (promotes the emptying of the biliary vesicle) properties; it has been scientifically proven that the bitter principle taraxicin is responsible for increasing bile production. Dandelion has bitter-tonic, hepatoprotective, diuretic and digestive properties. The diuretic action is basically due to the eudesmanolides and potassium richness.
- MILK THISTLE (Silybum marianum) E.S. of Milk Thistle 2% in silymarin: Clinical studies show that the activity of Milk Thistle is manifested through a hepatoprotective action, resulting in optimisation of liver function, and through a cholagogue action, stimulating emptying of the gallbladder and the flow of bile in the intestine.
- ARTICHOKE (Cynara scolymus) E.S. of Artichoke 1% in Chlorogenic Acid: As extensively reported in the literature, Artichoke has a choleretic, hepatoprotective and hepatostimulating action: it supports blood circulation and regeneration of liver tissue, for natural restoration of liver function. It has a mild diuretic action, due to the presence of potassium salts.
- ALOE VERA (Aloe barbadensis miller) E.S. of Aloe Vera 200:1: The filamentous consistency of the mucopolysaccharides creates a kind of protection in case of irritation of the gastric and intestinal mucous membranes, reducing irritability and pain. Irritable bowel syndrome' (IBS) is a widespread disorder characterised by variable abdominal discomfort; the symptoms are many and varied, such as bloating, meteorism, abdominal tension. The juice is rich in vitamin C, E, B, rehydrating and cell revitalising minerals, with antioxidant, immunostimulant, depurative and diuretic activity.
- GREEN TEA (Camellia sinensis) E.S. of Green Tea 8-10% in polyphenols: International literature extols the phytocomplex of Green Tea for its natural lipolytic action, due in particular to the xanthine bases (caffeine, theobromine), and because it is able to limit sugar absorption.
- GREEN COFFEE (Coffea arabica) E.S. of Green Coffee 10% in Chlorogenic Acid: Research in modern phytotherapy has led to the identification of the coffee phytocomplex, particularly chlorogenic acid, and its natural ability to intervene positively in the regulation of blood sugar levels (there is an increase in their metabolism and a decrease in their absorption, which favours weight loss). Antioxidant.
- HORSetail (Equisetum arvense) E.S. of Horsetail 1% in silica: Possesses a remarkable remineralising effect, useful for preventing the depletion of mineral salts, precious and indispensable to the body in the event of excessive loss of liquids through diuresis or sweating. Its diuretic action is also noteworthy, thanks to its high potassium salt content.
