Rooibos tea.
It contains no theine and is low in tannins and oxalic acid. The resulting infusion, amber-red in colour, has a slight nutty taste and a sweet flavour even without the addition of sweetener. Drink at all hours and at all ages.
Preparation: 1 teaspoon per cup in 100 degree water; let steep for 6-8 minutes; origin: South Africa.
